Day 1: Nairobi – Aberdare National Park

Pick up from the airport or hotel at 08:00hrs EAT

Cross the Kenyan Highlands, through pineapple and coffee plantations, to your “base hotel” in time for lunch at Aberdare Country Club.

Afternoon transfer into Aberdare National Park and on to The Ark Lodge for bird watching and overnight floodlit game viewing from the lodge viewing decks. Ark Lodge, set in the heart of the Aberdare National Park, is an unique tree lodge with a veranda that overlooks a floodlit waterhole and saltlick allowing undisturbed views of wildlife visiting the waterhole. Elephant, rhino, leopard, bushbuck and occasionally an elusive bongo and giant forest hog have been sighted

Day 2: Aberdare National Park – Full Day

Breakfast at the Lodge, Head for a morning Game drive . Have lunch at the lodge. Afternoon game drive, returning back to the lodge for dinner and overnight

Day 3: Aberdare National Park – Lake Naivasha

Breakfast at the lodge,
Checkout and proceed to  Lake Naivasha.

Thompsons Falls Nyahururu – Stopover

Thomson’s Falls is a beautiful waterfall at the Ewaso Nyiro River in Central Kenya. The waterfall is 74 meters (243 feet) high. One of the biggest hippo pools of Kenya is located up stream from the falls. It’s possible to view the falls from above, and there’s also a trail down to the bottom of the ravine.

The Thomson’s Falls gets it’s name from Joseph Thomson, a naturalist and geologist from Scotland who discovered it in 1887 when he walked all the way from Mombasa to Lake Victoria.


Upon arrival at Lake Naivasha, you will check in at the lodge have lunch.

After lunch start exploring the lake Naivasha where you will see many of the wildlife including waterbucks, antelopes, giraffes among others .

Boat Ride To Crescent Island Game Sanctuary & Hiking
You will then have a boat ride to the crescent Island and thereafter a hike for a chance for more game viewing

Dinner and Overnight at lodge

Stopover: Thompsons Falls Nyahururu

Destination: Lake Naivasha

Excursion: Crescent Island Game Sanctuary

Day 4: Lake Naivasha – Hells Gate National Park

Breakfast at the Lodge,

Head out to Hells Gate National Park which is just a short drive from Naivasha.

Bike Ride / Hike To Gorges
At hells gate you will have a bike ride accompanied by a guide who knows the park well and who will guide you through the park showing you all the sights, the bike ride will take some time before you have to leave the bicycles behind and continue on foot to the various gorges and caves that dot the park.

Lunch
You will have your packed lunch as you go on with the hike when the tour is finished, you will head back to the camp

Dinner and Overnight at lodge

Destination: Hells Gate National Park

Day 5: Lake Naivasha – Masai Mara National Reserve

Breakfast in Lodge.

Checkout and drive to Masai Mara National Reserve, in time for Lunch
There after go for an afternoon game drive.

Day 6 & Day 7: Masai Mara National Reserve (Full Day)

Breakfast at the Lodge,

Head for a morning Game drive . Have lunch at the lodge.

Afternoon game drive, returning back to the lodge for dinner and overnight

The Masai Mara is a must-see for every safari traveller. Take to the crystal blue skies for a birds-eye-view of the golden African plains and its many inhabitants. For a more up close and personal encounter, embark on a thrilling jeep safari among the area’s lions, elephants and other wildlife. The Masai Mara National Reserve & conservancies never fail to entice and excite.

Day 8: Masai Mara National Reserve – Nairobi

Breakfast in Lodge. Checkout and drive to Nairobi,

Lunch at Canivore Restaurant,

Later Drop off at JKIA Airport for your flight Back Home
