The Amboseli 'name', conjures a vista of elephants,trekking through savanna grasslands dotted with accacia trees and the thorny scrub alongside a magnificent snow capped Mt Kilimanjaro backdrop.
Traverse through the well re-known tourist hotspot and experience the large multitude of game that include the Elephants, lions and other big cats.
Amboseli offers an interesting contrast in appearance. It has a somewhat dry and dusty appearance, which can be attributed to the volcanic ash that came out of Mt Kilimanjaro when it last erupted. Mt Kilimanjaro, in fact, is located just about 25 miles away. However, in spite of the appearance, there is a continuous supply of water that gets filtered through volcanic rocks from Kilimanjaro's melted snow. These streams flow underground, creating lush green areas, and converge at two clear water springs in the park.

Day 1: Nairobi/Amboseli
Leaving Nairobi in the morning, we drive south via the Kenya / Tanzania border post of Namanga to Amboseli National Park at the foot of snow capped Mt Kilimanjaro.
Arrive in time for lunch and thereafter, an afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at your lodge – Amboseli Serena Lodge or similar (depending on availability and your preferred choice).

Day 2· Amboseli Nairobi
An early morning gamedrive in this park known for its big five (Elephant, Lion, Leopard, Rhino & Buffalo), which can be seen with Mt Kilimanjaro in the background is followed by breakfast and thereafter, return to Nairobi to arrive by lunchtime.
